Interest income, which accounted for over 80% Vietinbank’s total income, contributed the most part in the rising net profit. The improvement in credit spread (4%) and NIM (2.46%) in 1H2011 were key drivers for surging interest income as the lender’s loan book rose only 12.6% in the period. |
